Round overview

Memory Circuit is the opening round of Echo Beam and it sets the tone for the entire experience. Every stage is a memory puzzle: you watch the real solution for a few seconds, after which the mirrors vanish and the grid resets. You must recreate the exact path from memory before the preview fades from your mind.

There is no mirror quota in this round, so your only goal is to place the right diagonal pieces in the right cells. Because there is no experimentation phase, the challenge is equal parts spatial reasoning and short-term memory.

Source emitter

The red emitter defines the entry direction of the beam and can sit on any edge of the board. It never moves, so your mirrors must respect its initial direction.

Goal receiver node

Goal receiver

The teal receiver captures the laser when it arrives from any orthogonal direction. Guiding the beam into this tile clears the level instantly.

Forward diagonal mirror

Forward mirror ( / )

A forward mirror reflects light from left↔up and right↔down. Use it to bend horizontal beams upward or downward.

Back diagonal mirror

Back mirror ( \ )

The back mirror reflects left↔down and right↔up. In the first level it is the hinge that returns the beam toward the goal after the big diagonal climb.
